Counselling is the opportunity to explore and process the things in life that you may be struggling with. Looking at feelings, emotions and thoughts and finding perspective. Counselling provides a safe space in which you will be shown empathy, patience and non-judgement. It allows the opportunity in life to move forward, exploring choices and freedoms.
My name is Nicola and I am a qualified Humanistic Existential counsellor. I work with adults over the age of 18.

I always feel honoured to be a part of people’s journeys in life and to be able to watch them grow.
I can offer counselling in many areas, these include: -
· Depression
· Anxiety
· Trauma
· Bereavement
· Life choices
· Self esteem
· Social anxiety
· Work/Career
· Sexuality
· Loss of meaning
· Anger
· Stresses
· Childhood issues
I am a Humanistic Existential counsellor, meaning that the client is always at the centre of the work done. It allows us to look at the here and now as well as acknowledging what has brought you here and what lies ahead. My role is to support you on your individual journey and ensure it is done in a safe way. I often work creatively with clients who I feel may benefit from this approach as it can provide a deeper understanding, exploration and communication.
In the first session, you can expect an introduction going through the contract and establishing if counselling is the right fit for you.
