My name is Nicola and I am a qualified Humanistic Existential counsellor. I work with adults over the age of 18.
I am a registered member of the BACP governing body (British association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) ensuring I work safely and ethically.
I am also trained in ASIST (Applied suicide intervention skills training).
I always feel honoured to be a part of people’s journeys in life and to be able to watch them grow.
I can offer counselling in many areas, these include: -
· Life choices
· Self esteem
· Social anxiety
· Loss of meaning
· Childhood issues
I am a Humanistic Existential counsellor, meaning that the client is always at the centre of the work done. It allows us to look at the here and now as well as acknowledging what has brought you here and what lies ahead. My role is to support you on your individual journey and ensure it is done in a safe way. I often work creatively with clients who I feel may benefit from this approach as it can provide a deeper understanding, exploration and communication.
